Unofficial results place David Miller as Toronto's Mayor-elect
  
Unofficial results in the City's municipal election indicate David Miller has
been elected as the next Mayor of Toronto.

Unofficial Results of the top five mayoral candidates are:

David Miller 285286 43.58
John Tory 250960 38.33
Barbara Hall 60423 9.23
John Nunziata 34359 5.24
Tom Jakobek 4690 0.71


Out of a possible 1.65 million eligible voters, voter turnout was approximately
39 per cent.

Complete unofficial results, including those for all Councillors and School
Board Trustees, are available on the City's Web site at
http://www.toronto.ca/elections.

Ulli Watkiss, City Clerk, will release official results on Thursday, November
13 at 12 noon.
