City of Toronto opens Garrison Creek Park with community barbecue
  
Toronto Parks and Recreation staff and Councillor Joe Mihevc are celebrating
the opening of the Garrison Creek Park with a community barbecue, featuring
free hamburgers, hotdogs and pop. There will also be face painting, a beanbag
toss and other games and entertainment to commemorate this new leisure green
space.

Date: Sunday, September 7, 2003

Time: 1 p.m.

Location: Garrison Creek Park (south of Açores Avenue, between
Ossington Avenue and Shaw Street - Açores Avenue is south of Davenport Road and
north of Dupont Street)
