EMS, Fire, HUSAR Team honoured for rescue effort at Uptown Theatre collapse

The Community Services Committee will present an award to the emergency team
that worked to rescue victims trapped in the Uptown Theatre collapse. In
addition, the Heavy Urban Search and Rescue (HUSAR) team will also be honoured
for winning an international competition of search and rescue skills.

A briefing from emergency staff on the Uptown Theatre rescue effort will also
take place.
