2003 final property tax bills are in the mail
  
All City of Toronto 2003 final property tax bills have now been mailed.

Payment due dates for the regular instalment plan and for the six instalment
Pre-Authorized Tax Payment Plan are:
  • July 2
  • August 1
  • September 2, 2003
For the 11 month Pre-Authorized Plan, the withdrawal date is on
the 15th of every month or the nearest business day thereafter.

There are several ways to pay a property tax bill:
  • At any financial institution
  • Via telephone or internet bankingA
  • By mail to: City of Toronto Finance Department, P.O. Box 5000, Toronto, M2N 5V1
  • In person at all Civic Centres and City Hall:
    • East York, 850 Coxwell Avenue
    • Etobicoke, 399 The West Mall
    • North York, 5100 Yonge Street
    • Scarborough, 150 Borough Drive
    • York, 1652 Keele Street(Temporary Location)
    • Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street
Please note the York Civic Centre is
currently undergoing renovations.The Enquiry/Cashier Counter is temporarily
located at 1652 Keele Street (South of Eglinton)

Regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Extended hours are from Thursday June
26 to Wednesday July 2, 2003, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m..

The City also offers the option of paying property taxes through a
Pre-Authorized Tax Payment Program (PTP). This plan allows taxpayers to pay
over six or eleven instalments during the year. The next enrolment deadline is
September 15, 2003, for 2004 interim property taxes. Before applying for the
PTP program, you must pay all instalments of the current tax bill you just
received, then submit your PTP application with a void cheque. Applications
for the PTP program can be sent by mail or be delivered to one of the locations
listed above.

Regular hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Extended hours are offered until Wednesday July 2, 2003 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00
p.m.
