2003 BIA conference: change your main street dinosaur into a dynasty
Economic Development - The Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas
(TABIA) and the Ontario Business Improvement Area Association (OBIAA) are
co-hosting Main Street: Dinosaur or Dynasty, the 2003 Business Improvement Area
(BIA) National Conference, in which the City of Toronto Economic Development
Division is a key sponsor.

The conference, scheduled for March 2 to 4, 2003, at the Toronto Colony Hotel,
89 Chestnut St. (just north of City Hall), will bring together over 150 BIA
members from across Canada to share information and experiences on common
issues. Delegates will participate in a series of interactive seminars and
presentations and will hear from the experts on topics such as modern retail
research, information management systems, loss prevention, special events,
parking, beautification and new legislation.

Whether a BIA is looking for cosmetic touch ups or a complete overhaul, the
conference will provide a forum for exchange, exploring fresh ideas and
successful strategies for area improvements. For more information on the
conference, including a complete schedule of events and online registration
