Ontario Human Rights Code, and the tools available to assert those rights.

Date: Wednesday, April 2
Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: Council Chambers, City Hall, 100 Queen Street West
Key times: 10:15 a.m. - Panel of experts
1:35 p.m. - Keynote address by Keith Norton

?It?s about rights: a forum on human rights for seniors,? presented by the
Toronto Seniors? Assembly, will combine presentations, panel discussions and
information-sharing sessions, all designed to inform seniors of their rights,
and to solicit their ideas and experiences. The forum is being presented at
this time to also help seniors take steps to ensure their rights are solidly
represented on the political agenda as we face changes in municipal, provincial
and federal governments over the coming months.

A forum feature will be a keynote address by Keith Norton, Chief Commissioner
of the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
