Media Advisory: City panel focuses on answering questions about war and terrorism
  
Nightmares and War Echoes - Addressing Children's Fears will feature a panel of
community leaders who will focus on the common questions and concerns of
parents and professionals when answering children's difficult questions about
war and terrorism.

Date: Friday, May 2

Time: 9 a.m to noon

Location: North York Civic Centre, Council Chambers,
5100 Yonge St.

The moderator will be Zanana Akanda, President of the Urban Alliance on Race
Relations.

Panel guests include:
Kali Galanis, Deputy Executive Director, War Child Canada;
Uzma Shakir, Executive Director Council, Agencies Serving South Asians; Kirk
Mark, Co-ordinator of Race and Ethnic Relations Curricular and Accountability
Department, Toronto Catholic District School Board; Maha Bustami, Counsellor,
Arab Community Centre; and Brenda Patterson, Director, Contracted Services,
Toronto Children's Services.
