Keele Street Resurfacing - Wilson Avenue to Finch Avenue West
  
Works and Emergency Services - The City of Toronto will resurface Keele Street
from Wilson Avenue to Finch Avenue West beginning September 15, 2003.

The work taking place includes the replacement of the asphalt surface on Keele
Street along with most of the curbs and gutters and the replacement of some of
the existing sidewalks.

During construction, at least one lane of traffic will be maintained in each
direction including all existing left turn lanes.

The project will be completed in two phases. The first phase of the project,
the work on Keele Street from Sheppard Avenue West to Finch Avenue West, will
take place from September 15 to December, 2003.

In the second phase of the project, work on Keele Street from Wilson Avenue to
Sheppard Avenue West will take place from mid-April to mid-August, 2004. This
work will also include enhancements to the Wilson Avenue/Keele Street
intersection.

Work will generally take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday
to Friday. When required, Saturday and late night work will also be performed.
The contractor will comply with noise by-laws established by the City of
Toronto.

Access to bus and subway stops as well as to businesses, churches and
residences will be maintained at all times.
