"Night of Knights" Kick-off Features Musical Interlude and Fresh Baked Bread!

On Friday, October 23, 1998, a special ceremony will be held to celebrate the
successful partnership shared by Cummer Lodge Home for the Aged and the local
community.

A highlight of this event will be a cheque presentation by the North York
Knights of Columbus to the President of the Cummer Lodge Resident's Council.
This presentation will serve as the kick-off for the Cummer Lodge "Night of
Knights", a special evening on January 9, 1999, that will feature the North
York Symphony and performers from the University of Toronto Opera School.

Members of the North York Symphony will provide the musical entertainment for
the kick-off.

The event will also include comments by Toronto Councillors and Cummer Lodge
residents and staff, as well as a tour of a newly completed wing of the home
for the aged, which has been undergoing extensive renovations. The tour will
demonstrate the improved accommodations arising from the renovations, and
residents will be available for interviews and comments. Guests can also
observe a resident cooking class in progress, and even sample freshly baked
bread!

Date: Friday, October 23, 1998 Time: 2:00 p.m. Location:
Cummer Lodge Home for the Aged, 205 Cummer Avenue, North York
