Get into the spirit of the Christmas season!

Allan Gardens conservatory takes you back in time with its annual Victorian
Christmas Flower Show from Sunday, December 6, 1998 to Tuesday, January 5, 1999.

Boughs of holly, evergreen wreaths, poinsettias of every conceivable colour and
other seasonal plants will adorn Allan Gardens Conservatory including a display
of a Victorian living room complete with fireplace, rocking horse and christmas
tree made entirely from plants. The conservatory will glow with candlelight
every day from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Celebrate the season with colourful traditions from the turn-of-the-century.
The special opening celebration will take place on Sunday, December 6, 1998
from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., featuring Victorian carollers, a visit from Father
Christmas, horse and buggy rides in the park, outdoor activities for children
and free hot cider and cookies.

Allan Gardens is located on the south side of Carlton Street, between Jarvis
and Sherbourne Streets and is open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30
p.m. Admission is free.
