City of Toronto greets Sheldon Kennedy with a children's rally in Metro Square
  
The City of Toronto is a proud supporter of Sheldon Kennedy's Cross Canada
Skate for Kids and will officially welcome Kennedy to Toronto with a special
rally in his honour. Metro Square will resound with the sounds of children
taking part in a number of activities and special features, including:
  • Markus, a popular children's entertainer, will take the stage providing a mini-concert
  • the Toronto Maple Leaf's slapshot machine will be set up to test everyone?s speed and accuracy
  • local sports and media celebrities
  • face painters, baseball throws and other fun 'n' games


The public are invited to join the festivities and help Toronto welcome
Kennedy. Donations to the Cross Canada Skate for Kids can be made in Metro
Square.
