City Highlights Top 10 Intersections for 1997
  
The City of Toronto's Works and Emergency Services Department today released
details of the ten intersections in the City with the highest collision
frequency in 1997. They are as follows:

*1. Yonge Street and Steeles Avenue West - 45
2. Weston Road and Finch Avenue West - 44
3. Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East - 41
4. W.R. Allen Road and Sheppard Avenue West - 41
5. Warden Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East - 41
6. Arrow Road/Signet Drive and Finch Avenue West - 40
7. Martin Grove Road and Dixon Road - 40
8. Islington Avenue and Dixon Road - 39
9. Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue West - 38
10. Jane Street and Finch Avenue West - 38

* High collision intersections in both 1996 and 1997 listings

The above data includes all collisions involving pedestrians, cyclists, and
vehicles at these intersections. Results for 1998 are unavailable at this time.
