Metro Hall Sizzles With Summer Music Series

Metro Hall is the place to be this summer for exciting musical performances.

"From 4 Corners," a free summer concert series, will feature a variety of
musical experiences in Metro Square, 55 John Street, from June 18 to August 6.

From pop to big band, jazz to cajun, the "From 4 Corners" series has something
for everyone to enjoy.

The concerts are held every Thursday from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. In case of
inclement weather, the concerts are moved inside to the Metro Hall Rotunda.

The series kicks off with the stylish folk/pop sounds of rising young artist
Gregg Lawless on Thursday, June 18. Quartette, with Sylvia Tyson, who perform a
mix of folk, country, gospel and bluegrass, take to the stage on June 25.

The rest of the summer schedule is as follows:
July 2: Karshilama (world music)
July 9: Grupo Taller (latin American)
July 16: Besharah (jazz/pop)
July 25: Swamparella (cajun)
July 30: Blackburn (soul)
August 6: Whitney Smith's Big Steam Band (big band)
