Toronto Hosts Provincial Tree Climbing Championship
  
The City of Toronto will play host to the Ontario Tree Climbing Championship on
Saturday, June 13 at Colonel Samuel Smith Park (Kipling Avenue and Lake Shore
Boulevard West) from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Competitive events in the competition include 40-foot-high speed climbs, rope
throwing, aerial rescues and work climbs.

The winner of the event will represent Ontario at the World Tree Climbing
Championship in Birmingham, England.

In addition to the tree climbing championship, there will be a trade show and
other activities for the whole family.
