Islamic Art and Science Exhibition at the Scarborough Civic Centre
  
The 4th annual exhibition of Islamic Art and Science will take place at the
Scarborough Civic Centre, October 4 to 31, 1998. Regular viewing hours are
between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily.

The opening ceremonies will take place on Sunday, October 4, 1998 at 5:00 p.m.

The Muslim Community of Toronto has organized this exhibition which includes
the work of artists from Iran, Pakistan, Turkey and Canada as well as from
local art schools Cardinal Carter Academy of the Arts and Wexford Collegiate
Institute. With an emphasis on education, culture and history, this exhibit
has become a source of pride and inspiration to the Muslim community and also
to all residents who seek to understand and appreciate the development of the
Islamic civilization and faith.
