St. Lawrence Market Harvest Festival continues Saturday, October 24

St. Lawrence Market continues its first-ever Harvest Festival by hosting an informative, entertaining and fun event, "The Beauty of Food!", in the South St. Lawrence Market on Saturday, October 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Profiling foods and products that participants can purchase at the Market, students from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine will explain how shoppers can find how to treat their body to skin and hair care products they can at home. E.T. the Mime will make a special guest appearance during this event. The Festival continues on Saturday, October 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with "Creepy Hallowe'en Treats!". Kids and parents can learn how to make creepy - and tasty - Hallowe'en foods that kids will want to eat! The Harvest Fetival reaches its grande finale with "Harvest Hoedown" on November 7 from 7:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in the North Market building. St. Lawrence Market is proud to sponsor a benefit square dance to launch Toronto's Out of the Cold program. The benefit will let everyone share the
harvest abundance with music, food and community. Members of the public can
call (416) 392-7219 for ticket information.

St. Lawrence Market is at Front Street East at Jarvis Street in downtown
Toronto.
