Scarborough Civic Centre Wraps Up 1998 at Annual Family New Year's Eve Party
  
The Scarborough Civic Centre will be buzzing with activities both outside and
inside at the annual Family New Year's Eve party on Thursday, December 31, 1998.

Inside the Civic Centre, the festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. with balladeer Rick
Fielding, and at 8:30 p.m. enjoy the sounds of Music Spectrum with Bob
DeAngelis in the Central space until 12:30 a.m.

For the youngsters, there will be clowns and face painters from 7:30 p.m. to
9:30 p.m. and the Disney film "The Little Mermaid" will be shown twice at 7:30
p.m and 9:30 p.m. in the Meeting Hall.

Outside on the Albert Campbell Square, there will be ice skating and sleigh
rides as well as a giant bonfire to keep everyone warm.

Admission is free. The cafeteria and snack bar will be open and there will be
lots of free parking.
