Media Advisory: City of Toronto introduces the 2008 Capital Budget
  
Deputy City Manager & Chief Financial Officer, Joseph Pennachetti, will present the 2008 Capital Budget and 2009-2012 Capital Plan to the Budget Committee.

The City of Toronto is now considering the 2008 Capital Budget and 2009 to 2012 Capital Plan. This five-year plan determines the capital projects the City will undertake to maintain and/or improve City assets such as roads, bridges, transit, community centres, libraries and more.

Toronto is Canada’s largest city and sixth largest government, and home to a diverse population of about 2.6 million people.
