Toronto hosts the sixth annual STOMP Urban Dance Competition/Showcase
  
City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation will join members of the community at the sixth annual STOMP Urban Dance Competition/Showcase at the Toronto Centre for the Arts.

Date: Saturday, May 26
Time: 1 p.m.
Location: 5040 Yonge St., Main Stage Theatre, (south of North York Civic Centre)

STOMP Urban Dance Competition/Showcase provides youth with the opportunity to participate in physical activity. It features 41 teams, and over 350 participants, aged six to 24 years from Parks, Forestry and Recreation dance programs, Toronto Community Housing Corporation and Boys & Girls Clubs, while showcasing the talent of private dance companies and professional teams. STOMP Urban Dance Competition/Showcase encompasses many styles of dance including step, B-boy, breaking, hip hop, dancehall, jazz and contemporary; all part of urban movement.
