Traffic opened in both directions along Lake Shore Blvd.

Lake Shore Blvd. is now open to vehicles travelling in both directions following a watermain break that occurred early yesterday morning.

The eastbound lanes re-opened at approximately 2 p.m. this afternoon. The westbound lanes re-opened yesterday.

The closure was the result of a watermain break which occurred on Lake Shore Blvd. on Monday, April 23 in the eastbound lane, approximately 15 to 20 meters from the east side of the intersection. City of Toronto Water crews identified and fixed the break and road crews performed the necessary repairs to the roadway.
