Media Advisory: Official opening of BMO Field in Toronto
The Honourable Helena Guergis, Secretary of State (Foreign Affairs and International Trade) (Sport), Parliamentary Assistant to Ontario Health Promotion Minister, Peter Fonseca, Toronto Mayor David Miller and Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone, Chair of the Board of Governors for Exhibition Place, will officially open the new BMO Field.

The elected officials will hold a media conference which will be hosted by Exhibition Place’s CEO, Dianne Young. Following the media conference, FIFA president Mr. Joseph S. Blatter, CONCACAF president Mr. Jack Warner and Canadian Soccer Association president Mr. Colin Linford will join them for the opening ceremonies before the International Friendly Match between Canada and Argentina’s U-20 teams.

Date: TOMORROW - Friday, May 11

Times: 7 p.m. (Media Conference)
7:45 p.m. (Opening Ceremonies)
8 p.m. (Kick-off)
