Media Advisory - Christmas tree lighting ceremony marks beginning of festive season in Scarborough
Councillor Norm Kelly (Ward 40 Scarborough-Agincourt), Chair of Scarborough Community Council, and representatives of the City of Toronto’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division will kick off the holiday season in the Scarborough district at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Date: Friday, December 14
Time: 8 p.m.
Location: Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Dr.

Celebrate the season with outdoor skating, indoor live music provided by the Agincourt Collegiate Institute jazz ensemble and vocalist Peggy Mahon, hot chocolate and cookies, and arts and crafts. Santa Claus will also be available for pictures. Admission is free.
