Media Advisory Gymnasium dedicated in honour of Roy Brigham
Councillor Case Ootes (Ward 29 Toronto-Danforth), representatives of City of Toronto’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division, and members of the public will join Roy Brigham to name the gymnasium at East York Community Centre in his honour with a plaque unveiling.

Date: Thursday, November 8
Time: 10 a.m.
Location: East York Community Centre, 1081 ½ Pape Ave.

Brigham served as a member of Council for the former Borough of East York and was formative in the building of the East York Community Centre. He also served on the Board of the East York Branch of the YMCA. Brigham continued to support the community as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and President of the Home and School Association at Westwood School and worked diligently on behalf of special needs children.
