Meeting to discuss City of Toronto Walking Strategy

A meeting to talk about the development of the City of Toronto Walking Strategy - a plan to make Toronto a great walkable city - will take place at the Harbourfront Community Centre dance studio on Wednesday, April 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This session will be the first in a series of monthly workshops for the public to provide input into the development of the City of Toronto Walking Strategy.

International pedestrian planning experts Jim Walker, Bronwen Thornton, and Gil Penalosa will share their experiences on walkable communities, and citizens will also have the opportunity to discuss ideas that can help shape an exciting vision of walking in Toronto.

This workshop is co-sponsored by Spacing Magazine.
