Media Advisory: Mayor David Miller and 20-Minute Makeover sponsors do the countdown on litter
The 20-Minute Toronto Makeover litter clean-up event, now in its fourth year, is scheduled for Friday, April 20. Groups and individuals across Toronto and the seven official GTA partnering communities of Oakville, Mississauga, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Pickering and Ajax are once again on board for this Clean and Beautiful City initiative.

On Thursday, April 12, Mayor David Miller will join representatives from the seven returning 20-Minute Makeover sponsors - TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, The Home Depot, Toronto Star, Pizza Pizza, The Toronto Sun, Tim Hortons and McDonald’s - to demonstrate their commitment to clean and safe communities. The Mayor and sponsors will speak to their individual and collective initiatives to reduce litter.
