Mayor David Miller and Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone to celebrate Lynn Williams
  
On Monday, May 7, Mayor David Miller and Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone will be present at the ceremony celebrating the official naming of Lynn Williams St. in Liberty Village.

Location: 80 Lynn Williams St., in East Liberty Village

Lynn Williams, one of Canada’s pre-eminent labour leaders, rose through the ranks of the United Steelworkers in various leadership roles, and in 1984, became the first Canadian elected international president of the union.

It is the economic engine of Canada and one of the greenest and most creative cities in North America. In the past three years Toronto has won more than 50 awards for quality and innovation in delivering public services.
