Partial closures of Don Valley Parkway and Allen Road on Sunday

The City of Toronto’s Transportation Services Division will be performing maintenance work on the Don Valley Parkway and Allen Rd. this Sunday, which will result in the partial closure of both roads.

The southbound Don Valley Parkway will be closed from the Bayview Ave. exit to the Gardiner Expressway on Sunday, October 21 from 12:01 a.m. to 2 p.m. Victoria Park Ave., Leslie St., and Don Mills Rd. are alternate routes during the closure.

The southbound Allen Rd. will be closed from Transit Rd. to Eglinton Ave. W. on Sunday, October 21 from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. (full day closure). As work progresses, portions of the road could be re-opened sooner. Avenue Rd., Bayview Ave., Bathurst St., and Dufferin St. are alternate routes during the closure.

Whenever possible, the public is encouraged to consider using public transit as a convenient alternative.

For further information about other road closures, check with Transportation Services’ Road Info line at 416-599-9090 or visit the City’s website at http://www.toronto.ca/transportation.
