Media Advisory: Toronto celebrates Spring Hike Day
Members of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation and hiker/members of The Toronto Bruce Trail Club will join members of the community to officially celebrate Spring Hike Day with a ribbon cutting.

Date: Sunday, June 17
Time: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: High Park (Bloor St. and Parkside Dr.)

Fifteen to 20 hike leaders and speakers from Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation in partnership with The Toronto Bruce Trail Club will lead walks along trails, not roads, through High Park, pointing out natural features, places of interest and distances travelled.

Parks, Forestry and Recreation will offer Discovery Walks, bicycle and park walking trails, Parks Treasures, The Children’s Garden and Exploring Toronto guides. Toronto Public Health will have information available for the pedometer program. Ride Guides will be provided by the TTC.
