Media Advisory: Scarborough Village Theatre rolls out a new red carpet
  
City of Toronto Culture, and Parks, Forestry and Recreation staff along with Theatre Scarborough are unveiling upgrades made to the Scarborough Village Theatre. In late December 2006, and early January 2007, the carpet and seats in the theatre were replaced.

Date: Wednesday, January 17
Time: 7 p.m. reception; 8 p.m. ribbon cutting ceremony
Location: Scarborough Village Theatre, Scarborough Village Community Centre
3600 Kingston Rd. (Kingston and Markham Rds.)

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception will take place prior to a performance of Sylvia by the Scarborough Players.

Theatre Scarborough is a group of community theatre organizations - Scarborough Players, Scarborough Music Theatre, and Scarborough Theatre Guild - who perform year-round in Scarborough Village Theatre.
