Media Advisory: Measurement Park opening makes its mark

Mayor David Miller, Councillor Sandra Bussin (Ward 32 Beaches-East York), and Janet Rosenberg of Janet Rosenberg and Associates, Landscape Architects & Urban Designers, will join the Muzzo family and community members at the opening ceremonies for Measurement Park and the dedication of the Muzzo Family Memorial Trees.

Date: Wednesday, June 6 (rain or shine)
Time: 2:30 p.m.
Location: Measurement Park, south side of Kingston Rd., south of Queen St. E.

The opening ceremony will include a sign unveiling. Marc Muzzo will represent his family, including the members who have passed away in whose memory the two commemorative trees will be planted. Measurement Park is one of the projects resulting from the City of Toronto’s Neighbourhood Beautification Program, which is designed to engage communities to beautify underutilized spaces in City wards. This program complements Toronto's increased efforts to clean and revitalize overlooked City-owned spaces.

Toronto is Canada’s largest city and sixth largest government, and home to a diverse population of about 2.6 million people.
