Media Advisory: March Madness 2007
  
City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, along with the Toronto Maple Leafs’ Hockey Club and Esso present the 14th annual March Madness Ball Hockey Tournament this weekend. The event will feature a series of skills, drills and hockey games between inner-city youth teams.

Dates and times: Friday, March 23; 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, March 24; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, March 25; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Location: Better Living Centre, Exhibition Place

Approximately 1,000 children and youth (6 to 15 years of age) from various community centres across the city will participate in the three-day ball hockey championship event. Participants are from the Parks, Forestry and Recreation Street Buds program. This event will allow participants to test their ball hockey skills and abilities while promoting teamwork, responsibility and other life skills.

Members of the public are invited to attend. Admission is free.
