Media Advisory: Flag-raising for Pride Week
  
Mayor David Miller and members of Council will join Pride co-chairs David Anderson and Lenore MacAdam in raising the Rainbow flag to kick off Pride Week.

Date: Monday, June 18
Time: Noon
Location: Nathan Phillips Square, City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

This year, speeches and performances will take place on Nathan Phillips Square in order to accommodate the ever-growing crowds. The flag will be raised, as always, from the courtesy flag pole on the podium roof. Forte - The Toronto Men’s Chorus - will perform at the event.

Pride is a week-long cultural festival of Toronto’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirited and transsexual community. This is the 27th annual celebration of Toronto’s strong, vibrant and proud community. For a listing of all Pride events, visit www.pridetoronto.com.
