Media Advisory: Toronto Beaches officially open for the 2007 swimming season
  
The City of Toronto and Environmental Defence will officially open Toronto's 10 life guarded beaches at the annual beach launch. The international Blue Flag will be raised at the event in Ward 32 and Councillor Sandra Bussin will address the media.

Date: Wednesday June 6
Time: 10:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Location: Woodbine Beach, 1675 Lakeshore Blvd. E. at Northern Dancer Blvd. (1st light east of Coxwell). Turn into the City parking lot and walk east along the boardwalk to the Sommerville Pool. The media conference will be on the beach, directly behind the Sommerville Pool (large above ground pool).
