Media Advisory: Children's art offers unique snapshots

Toronto Children's Services -- On Monday, September 24, the fourth annual Art
at the Start will kick off its week-long celebration of children's art. The
exhibit will honour the creative expressions of 52 children, from infants to
age 11, who attend Toronto Children's Services child care centres.

Date: Monday, September 24

Time: 6:30 p.m.

Location: City Hall Rotunda
100 Queen St. W.

At the opening ceremonies, the children and their family members from more than
50 child care centres will receive mounted copies of their award-winning
designs. Many of the art pieces are snapshots of the children's lives, taking
the viewer on a journey to another country, a day at the beach or a
make-believe land.

The artwork will be displayed from Monday, September 24 to Friday, September 28.
