Media Advisory: Transitional housing for homeless Aboriginal youth to open in Toronto
  
Aboriginal homeless youth in Toronto now have a place to call home. Native
Child & Family Services of Toronto, in partnership with the United Way, the
City of Toronto and the Government of Canada's National Homelessness Initiative
(NHI), will open a 12-bed transitional home for homeless Aboriginal youth at
558 Bathurst Street.

An official opening ceremony will take place at the site on Friday, December 14
at 11 a.m. Representatives of the federal government, the City of Toronto and
Frances Lankin, President and CEO of the United Way of Greater Toronto, will be
in attendance.

Interviews and photo opportunities will be available.
