Photo-op: Father Christmas visits Allan Gardens

Time: 2 p.m.

Place: Allan Gardens, south side of Carlton between Jarvis and Sherbourne
Streets West

Father Christmas will make an appearance at Allan Gardens for the opening of
the annual Victorian Christmas Flower Show. This will be the first year that
the show has partnered with The National Ballet using a "Nutcracker" theme.
Allan garden will feature giant ballet slippers, a life-sized nutcracker, and
elements from The Nutcracker's Candy Land, fashioned entirely from plants.
There will also be traditional seasonal plants and many new varieties displayed
throughout the Conservatory.

2 p.m.
Opening remarks

2 to 5 p.m.
· visits by Father Christmas
· hot cider and cookies
· horse and buggy rides
· children's outdoor activities

4 to 5:30 p.m.
Conservatory by Candlelight
