Toronto proclaims June 18 to 24 Pride Week
  
Mayor Mel Lastman and City Councillors will proclaim June 18 to 24, 2001 as
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual and Transgender Pride Week in Toronto at a
flag-raising ceremony on Monday, June 18.

Date: Monday, June 18
Time: noon
Location: Podium roof, City Hall

Pride Week, now in its 21st year, is the first of many weekend events in
Toronto, and draws up to 750,000 spectators.

The traditional Pride Day Parade on Sunday, June 24 will highlight the week.
