Media Advisory: First children graduate from program to help bridge the digital divide
At a special ceremony, Councillors Brad Duguid and Olivia Chow will present
graduation awards to the first children completing Toronto Social Services'
kids@computers project. The event will also provide details and first-hand
accounts of how this large-scale project to provide home computers for children
on social assistance is a community success story.

A tour of a Toronto Public Library computer session will be provided, and
opportunities will be available to interview children who have received the
first home computers through this demonstration project.
