Media Advisory: Councillors Invited to Get Flu Shots

Toronto Public Health -- Toronto Public Health has vaccinated almost 20,000
people since free flu clinics began on October 22.

"The response from the public has been excellent. We are at the half-way point
and have already vaccinated almost as many people as we did during our whole
campaign last year," said Dr. Barbara Yaffe, Associate Medical Officer of
Health.

Today's flu clinics are in Metro Hall from noon until 6 p.m. and at City Hall
from 12:30 until 5 p.m. City Councillors have been invited to get their flu
shots today at City Hall during their council break from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.

Today's Clinics:
City Hall Rotunda: 12:30 - 5 p.m.
Metro Hall, 55 John Street: Noon - 6 p.m.

Vaccination clinics are running until November 17, and then again from January
14 to 17. For clinic locations, call 1-866-FLU-N-YOU (1-866-358-6968), or
