Sponsors are a crucial part of the Cavalcade of Lights festival team

Toronto Special Events - The 35th annual Cavalcade of Lights presented
by Scotiabank relies on the support of corporate sponsors and partners to help
launch the holiday season in Toronto on such a grand and dynamic scale.
Sponsors are an integral part of the festival team and truly are the reason why
this fantastic event is free and accessible for everyone to enjoy!

We are pleased to welcome back Scotiabank as Cavalcade's Presenting Sponsor.
Their generous support brings to this event the best rink-rocking skating
talent on the scene with two stunning 20-minute ice shows and the Scotiabank
Skating Party!

"This is the second year Scotiabank has been Presenting Sponsor of Toronto's
famous Cavalcade of Lights. It's a great way to usher in the festive season in
our great city," said Pat Minicucci, Senior Vice-President, Toronto Region,
Scotiabank. "At Scotiabank we take an active role in the communities where we
live and work. Supporting events like this one - an annual highlight for
children and grown-ups alike - is a great way to get involved."

Toronto Special Events also thanks our Cavalcade of Lights Star Sponsors for
their extraordinary commitment: Toronto Eaton Centre, FIDO, The Sheraton Centre
Toronto Hotel, Le Biftheque Steakhouse and Hydro One.

For the past 35 years Cavalcade of Lights has kicked-off the holiday season in
downtown Toronto with a dazzling ice show and the lighting of Toronto's giant
Official Christmas Tree and the surrounding civic square with 100,000 festive
lights. The 2001 event scheduled for Friday, November 30, 5:30 - 11:00 p.m. at
Nathan Phillips Square promises to be the most spectacular event in Cavalcade
history with the launch of a new festival format, including a full evening of
live music and illuminated street theatre, plus the addition of the Walt Disney
World Fireworks Spectacular.
