Media Advisory: Toronto begins its search for bicycle friendly businesses

Location: Mountain Equipment Co-op, 400 King Street West

The City of Toronto invites members of the media to the launch of the seventh
annual Bicycle Friendly Business Awards, to be held at Mountain Equipment
Co-op. The awards recognize businesses and organizations that not only support
cycling but also promote it as a viable mode of transport for their employees.
The City of Toronto recognizes Mountain Equipment Co-op as a model bicycle
friendly business.

This event will also highlight the benefits of cycling initiatives for
businesses, employees, communities and the city.

Co-ordinator, Mountain Equipment Co-op

- an interview with Sean Wheldrake, Bicycle Promotions Co-ordinator,
