Mix Music Fest4 -- Music and fireworks highlight Victoria Day celebration

Toronto Parks and Recreation, Mix 99.9 FM, and Toronto Police Services will
host an evening of music and fireworks at Ashbridges Bay Park on Monday, May
21, starting at 4 p.m.

The afternoon and early evening will feature performances by the Go-Go's, Evan
and Jaron, Spoons, Twigg and much more. A spectacular 20-minute fireworks
display at 9:45 p.m. will round out the celebrations.

Ashbridges Bay Park is located on Lake Shore Boulevard East at the foot of
Coxwell Avenue and is easily accessible by public transit. TTC service will be
increased between Queen Street East and the Bloor-Danforth subway on the
Coxwell (22A), Main (64) and Woodbine South (92A) routes to handle the 100,000
or more people expected at the event. It is recommended that people use the TTC
and leave their cars at home.

A limited number of spaces have been set aside for physically challenged people
and their families in a special viewing area, but disabled parking is not
available.

Note: City bylaws prohibit the public from setting off fireworks in the park.
