Media Advisory: Bring Back the Don holds open house
Greening the Narrows is the newest project of the Task Force to Bring Back the
Don. The Don Narrows is the much-neglected part of the Don River Valley between
Gerrard and Queen Streets East. Constrained by a transportation corridor, the
Narrows is hemmed in by railroad tracks, the Bayview Extension and the Don
Valley Parkway. The initiative will involve the local community in making the
Don Narrows a cleaner, greener place worth visiting.

At the open house, members of the task force will be on hand to talk about the
project and listen to your ideas on improving the Narrows.

Date: Wednesday, November 14

Time: 5 to 8 p.m.

Place: St. Matthew's Lawn Bowling Club, 14 St. Matthews Road,
(north side of Gerrard Street East, first street east of
Gerrard Street Bridge).

Note: Cantonese and Mandarin interpretation will be provided.
