Media Advisory : Ford 2001 Toronto Taxi Roadeo and Festival bigger and better
Urban Development Services -- Members of the city's taxi industry and their
families are in for an entire day of celebrations and competition at this
year's second annual Ford 2001 Toronto Taxi Roadeo and Festival on Sunday, May

The industry-only roadeo and festival, hosted by the Ford Motor Company and the

request of the taxi/limousine industry. The Stretch Crown Victoria is six
inches longer, available in gasoline or dedicated natural gas powered models,
and is set to begin production this summer.

Location: Ontario Place, 955 Lake Shore Blvd. W.
Members of the media can park in the VIP parking area

Time : 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, May 6

Highlights of the day include the taxi parade, the roadeo and festival kick-off

spots in three driving challenges. Drivers will test their skills in
factory-built natural gas powered vehicles from the Ford Motor Company.
