Scarborough Centre Review open house
Urban Development Services -- An open house is being held to obtain
public input into the new Scarborough Centre Secondary Plan.

The City of Toronto is preparing a new Official Plan that will provide a
strategy for managing growth and development in the city over the next 30
years. Scarborough Centre (the area around the Scarborough Civic Centre), along
with a number of other areas, has been identified as a location where the City
of Toronto would like to help facilitate major investment and accommodate some
of the city's anticipated growth. This is an opportunity for the public to ask
questions and provide input. Planning staff will be available to answer
questions and explain the background to the review and the work underway.

The open house will be held on Wednesday, May 16, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on the
ground floor (rotunda) at the Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Drive.
There will be a staff presentation at 7:30 p.m.
