Toronto Parks and Recreation emergency day camps continue next week

Parks & Recreation -- Toronto Parks and Recreation emergency day camps
for elementary school students ages 6 to 13 will continue at 46 recreation
centres next week, April 30 to May 4.

Registration is required for all camp participants, including those who are
already in emergency day camps this week. Parents should call 416-338-4386 on
Friday, April 27 beginning at 7 a.m.

Camps run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and include sports, arts and crafts and
games. Camp fees are $50 per week. Low-income families who cannot afford to pay
can apply to have the fees waived under the City's Welcome Policy.

On the first day of camp, parents of new campers or existing campers who have
changed their emergency day camp location must accompany their children and
complete a medical and emergency contact form. Parents will need to provide
health card numbers for their children, special medical needs information, and
emergency contact phone numbers. Campers are required to bring their own lunch
and wear outdoor clothing and footwear.
