Media Advisory: North Toronto Memorial Community Centre launches North America's first computerized drowning prevention and detection system
Members of the media are invited to witness the launch and demonstration of
North America's first-ever computerized drowning prevention and detection
system, installed in Toronto by Poseidon Technologies.

The media launch and demonstration will be held:

Date: Wednesday, April 4, 2001
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Place: Swimming Pool Deck
North Toronto Memorial Community Centre
200 Eglinton Avenue West

Speakers at the launch will include: Councillor Michael Walker, Chair of the
Midtown Community Council; Claire Tucker-Reid, General Manager, Parks and
Recreation Division, Economic Development, Culture and Tourism Department; and
Steve Bagby, President and General Manager of Poseidon Technologies.
