Mayor Tory to launch a new arts initiative and make an announcement about cutting red tape for musicians
  
Mayor John Tory will launch a new arts initiative and make an announcement about cutting red tape for musicians. Mayor Tory will be joined by Councillor John Filion (Ward 23 Willowdale), the City's Arts Advocate, and Claire Hopkinson, Director and CEO of the Toronto Arts Council and Foundation.

Date: Monday, May 30
Time: Noon to 1 p.m.
Location: Christie Pits Park, 750 Bloor St. W. (pavilion)

The launch will include musical performances by Quique Escamilla and Ten Kills The Pack. Amplification for the musical performances will be pedal-powered by the Tune Your Ride Collective.
