Mayor Tory to launch entrepreneur mentoring platform
Mayor John Tory will be joined by Councillor Michael Thompson (Ward 37 Scarborough Centre), Chair of the City's Economic Development Committee and Dave Wilkin, founder of Toronto's Ten Thousand Coffees, to launch the StartUp HERE Toronto Café – a new mentoring platform to assist Toronto entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Time: 1 to 3 p.m. (remarks at 1 p.m.)
Location: BrainStation, 460 King St. W.

This launch event will include a panel discussion moderated by Mayor Tory. The GTA-wide entrepreneur mentoring program is part of the recently launched StartUp HERE Toronto website and a collaboration between the City of Toronto and 35 organizations including MaRS, DMZ, Futurpreneur and the University of Toronto that provide support for entrepreneurs.
