Cultural Hotspot celebration tomorrow
  
Councillor Shelley Carroll (Ward 33 Don Valley East) will be joined by North York artists and organizations to celebrate the success of the third annual Cultural Hotspot program.

Date: Friday, October 28
Time: 3 to 7 p.m. (remarks at 5:30 p.m.)
Location: Toronto Centre for the Arts, 5040 Yonge St.

The closing celebration will feature art exhibitions, performances, a short film screening, an artisan market and DJ. This event is a collaboration with North York Arts and will also celebrate the organization’s fifth anniversary. More details are available at http:///www.northyorkarts.org/project/closingparty.

From May through October, the City of Toronto's Cultural Hotspot initiative highlighted the vibrant arts, culture and communities in North York with more than 100 free projects and events that were the result of collaborations with more than 40 program partners.
